With the release of the iPhone 11 in September 2019, people are starting to wonder what’s better, the iPhone 11 or the iPhone XR?
There are a few factors that play in making one specific handset better than the other. A lot of Apple fans are struggling to choose between the iPhone 11 and Xr and it’s completely understandable.
iPhone XR
The iPhone XR was released alongside the iPhone Xs and Xs Max in 2018. Built to be a lower-tier handset, the Xr had a very similar built to its successor, the iPhone X. Apple wanted to bring the design of the iPhone X to a more affordable price since so many people loved the X.
Price-wise, the iPhone XR easily beats the iPhone 11. You would expect this to be the case as the XR was designed to be a ‘budget’ smartphone however, prices aren’t as different as you would expect. Since the release of the 11 series, all other iPhones have dropped down in price.
On the back of the iPhone XR, you’ll see a single 12MP lens. This camera supports a lot of the main Apple features such as Portrait Mode and Smart HDR. Night Mode is not available on the iPhone XR though. The selfie camera on the front of the phone has a 7MP lens for some really clear photos.
iPhone 11
An exciting part of the iPhone 11 release was seeing some new colors hit the scene. A range of exciting, vibrant colors paired with neutral colors and Apple’s classic Red give customers a host of colors to pick from.
Both the front and back of the phone are glass, creating a really professional, sleek experience for the user. Apple is also boasting an IIP68 rating, which means the phone can withstand up to 2 meters of water for 30 minutes without damage. This is a huge improvement from all previous iPhones.
The iPhone 11 camera is where some serious differences come into play. Built with a dual 12MP lens camera, you’re going to get some great photos out of this. One lens is an ultra-wide-angle lens, which allows you 2x optical zoom. You’ll be able to bring your subject closer without losing any resolution or quality.
From all the features in the iPhones, can you really decide what’s better, the iPhone 11 or iPhone XR? Whichever iPhone you think is best, we’re sure you’ll love one of the value-packed Fonehouse iPhone deals to go with it.
